Who is the greatest?
In an age of self-centeredness, where everything is about us and us alone; It brought my mind to pen out some of the lost biblical meanings of "Love".
I mentioned earlier about reassessing some aspects of Love and you might wonder how such a word can come in a topic of leadership, may I quench your thirst?
Let’s loop up the biblical meaning of love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 "Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!"
Love is blind, they say
Love does not justify sin, He says
Forgiveness has limits, they say
Forgiveness is what portrays His love, He says
Following your heart’s desires unlocks happiness, they say
Following His kingdom and righteousness is what unlocks all other
things, He says
They say much and much He says,
Be careful…
Be careful to learn His character
Be careful to not remain where He saved you from
Be careful to understand what is in the world and who is in you
Be careful to not fall into the confusion between knowledge and
relationship
Be careful to not hold onto what will vanish
Just,
Be careful…
Some will come disguised as what might look like hope to you
Some will even come with strong convincing arguments
Some will come as what your heart will first resist
Some will come as what seems to harm you
But,
Be still, talk to Him
Go through His manuscript
He has something clear for our blurred mind
Because what is in the world strongly opposes who is in you.
Beauty, misaligned
Power, misused
Love, misinterpreted
Morals, misguided
Wealth, overrated.
My dear,
Go back to the Author,
He knows what is for what and what is what
He is the only right radar!
And,
I know it looks upside down
But trust me it’s right side up,
What has always been.
