It holds heartaches but it won’t be in vain

Have you ever felt like this journey of following Christ is tiring? Have you ever felt like quitting? Or ask yourself how those in the world seem to have it all together? Well, If you ever did, I might have something for you today…

It will never be in vain

But in the process, days will come where you feel like you are at your last drop

Days will come where you feel like you have lost all that used to make you move forward

Days will come where you will think that it’s more bearable in the other kingdom

Days will come where you will think that your choice was not the right to make

 

He did not promise a trials free life

He did not promise a painless life

He did not promise a doubt free life

He did not promise a “always happy” life

Allow me to say that this, is actually a scam

Trials free life is a scam 

Painless life is a scam

Doubt free life is a scam

“Always happy” life is a scam

Simply because it does not come from Him

 

What would make me believe in such thinking,

Because He emphasized on casting your cares on Him [1 Peter 5:7]

Because He emphasized on going only to Him when we are weary [Matthew 11:28-30]

Because He emphasized on having faith always [1 Corinthians 16:13]

Because He emphasized on rejoicing always [Philippians 4:4-7]

Because He knew things will not always be easy [Matthew 7:13-14]

Living your best life holds heartaches

Your best life that is being who you were created to be

Your best life that is living out your salvation

Your best life that is living out your authority and power

You best life that is far from what the other kingdom presents

This best life honestly holds heartaches

 

It holds heartaches since there is opposition

Opposition of the other kingdom

Opposition because you have chosen to belong to where you are supposed to belong

Opposition because your enemy will never be happy to lose you

Opposition because now you know the truth that has set you free

Free from the captivity of sin, therefore the other kingdom

Free from blindness

Free from bondages and strongholds

Opposition just because you oppose what is not true

 

Living your best life holds heartaches

And the one you have chosen holds strength to overcome them…
